1) Churchianity (Christianity falsely so-called). I.e. all good people are Christians, even the atheist, agnostic, Hindu, Jewish, and Muslim ones!
2) Multi-Versions-Onlyism (according to most Bible scholars and most preachers, God was too stupid to have known what a unicorn or a dragon was. Thus they make themselves Popes and re-write Scripture for Him).
3) Prosperity Theology. I.e. if it feels good, do it!!! (wait a minute, isn't that the satanic mission statement of Aleister Crowley, Timothy Leary, and The Beetles?).
4) "There is no Perfect Local Church,"so don't make waves, stay put, and accept the lot you've been dealt in life. Paul's 1 letter to the Corinthians is essentially meaningless these days as churches focus on numbers of members and more importantly: numbers of $$$.
5) The Seminary($$$)-trained Pastor with his fake religious Ph.D. (academic Post-hole-digger). Where is this guy in the Bible again? Normally when he turns up he is mentioned negatively, and often in connection with damnation (i.e. scholars, scribes, Pharisees, Sadducees).
6) Calvinism. No Calvinist reads the Old Testament because about 40+ decrees of God are reversed by God. In fact, God even gives the eternal decree coin toss in a few of them to carnal men (i.e. Abraham and Moses). I won't even address John 3:16 which takes limited atonement and blows it out of the water.
7) God is Love. I.e. Universalism. Sorry folks. John 3:16 may be the pinnacle of the Bible, but it is followed up by John 3:18 (What? I have to read the Bible in context?)
8) Signs and Wonders. Charismatics: There isn't one single case of angelic tongues being spoken by one person in the entire Bible. 1 Corinthians 13:1 is an "if you could" verse made much clearer by 1 Corinthians 13:2 which states if you could have ALL FAITH you could also move mountains. Sadly, nobody this side of Millennium has ALL of any gift.
9) Feminism. Sorry women: The Bible tells you that your highest vocation is not doctor, lawyer, engineer or even the President of the United States. Your highest goal according to Scripture is to be a successful wife, mother, and homemaker. Titus 2:5 even tells us you are blaspheming God by pursuing your professional endeavors at the expense of husband and family.
Any woman with a happy, productive home and rugrats trained "in the way they should go" (Proverbs 22:6) is 100 times more successful than any woman millionaire, celebrity, or politician smiling on TV.
Are you discouraged because you can't have children? Adopt. Seriously. Make it your ministry to save a broken child from the government's hellish foster system.
The only women outside of this "oppressive" bare-foot and pregnant scheme carried over from the Garden of Eden are the women blessed with singleness per 1 Corinthians 7:34 that can focus on the Lord (notice "Lord" does not mean careers or secular volunteerism like PETA).
10) "Science Falsely So-Called." Seriously folks, Jesus himself said that if you can't believe the things Moses penned down (Eden, Noah's Flood, the miracles of Exodus); you can't believe the things of Jesus. Don't agree? Go argue with our Creator (and My Lord and Savior); I'm just telling you what He said (John 5:47, Luke 16:31, John 3:12)
In Christ,
Wes
